Vtund is an easy way of creating IP over IP tunnels with traffic shaping, compression and encryption.
The WRT equipped with a sveasoft firmware is capable of multi-hop wireless routing thanks to the addition of Zebra OSPF routing and the WRT's ability to create WDS links with other WRTs. This creates a backbone network, which can span a whole community. Dual WRT Nodes can be used to communicate in on one channel while relaying the data packets out on another channel.
Vtund provides a simple way of creating tunnels between certain LANs around the WRT mesh. The tunnels can then be used to bridge these LAN's together, while preventing other mesh users from gaining access, all from within the WRT unit.

Zebra OSPF Binaries for DD-WRT Firmware
Currently DD-WRT uses the bird OSPF daemon for dynamic routing. This was not very helpful as the kblink mesh system uses Zebra OSPF, so here is a pair of static binaries made from the DD-WRT Source Tree.
