Welcome to the WRT Mesh Administration Interface
From this Interface you will be able to co-ordinate the roll out of multiple Linksys WRT54G/GS/GL ( Revisions: 1.2 2 3 3.1 or 4 ) Wireless Routers which have been upgraded to the DD-WRT Firmware.
This interface currently comprises 3 key features:
1) Setup you Mesh via one central interface, this system provides validation of fields, plus default values and automatic IP values where possible. Having key data stored centrally in this fashion will greatly help when one of your WRTs experiences hardware failure. The replacement unit can even use the old units mac address so that you create an identical replacement.
2) Central WRT54 Configuration which can be checked via the web interface. A small script can be run via the routers diagnostics command shell to update a units settings. An option will become available shortly to allow WRT routers to poll the server checking for config updates
3) Your Mesh Maps are designed to help make life simpler by allowing you to visualise you network infrastructure, and get feedback as to how things are performing.
